Stratford Upon Avon Wedding Photography - Best Western Grosvenor Hotel

What a great day second shooting this wedding alongside Alison Paul Photography. The sunshine was out, it was a beautiful autumnal day and a first photographing a wedding in the beautiful town of historic Stratford-Upon-Avon in the county of Warwickshire.

My started with photographing the bridal preps and details - this has to be one of my favourite parts of the day. I don’t set anything up I just photograph all that is happening in front of me (apart from the details of course). There may also be a group shot of the bridal party before I leave them for the ceremony. Generally I shoot what I see :). I love being a documentary wedding photographer and love second shooting! No pressure!

So Heidi’s dress was simple yet stunning and suited her perfectly. I was blown away by the colour of her hair which was a gorgeous deep red! Seriously not jealous there (ok so I am). I’m sure you’ll agree that she looked fabulous!

The ceremony and reception were held at the Best Western Grosvenor Hotel just on the outside of town but still only a short walk away from the centre! It was a truly emotional day for some but it was lovely to see such a happy and friendly crowd of family and friends all sharing the love for one special couple. For those that don’t know Stratford that well, it’s very famous for its connections with William Shakespeare who just happened to be born there. It is a very historical town not only for its Tudor age pubs but it is supposedly a haunted town so it’s definitely worth a visit over a long weekend.

It was an amazing day for me and hope to one day be back to photograph more weddings in Stratford. So if you or you know anyone getting married in Stratford-Upon-Avon and looking for a wedding photographer, let’s chat!
