This was one party from start to finish. What can I say about Keisha & Joe’s wedding. I first met up with Keisha for the first time at the bridal preparations. We had chatted loads on the phone beforehand. We had emailed lots too so it was just really putting a face to the voice and name! Honestly, we just hit it off from the start.
Lots of Champagne and Prosecco flowed throughout the day. A fit of giggles at the vows as well as tears of happiness it went great. The couple were so relaxed about their wedding photos it made my job really easy.
For the whole time I was there, I just documented the day as it unfolded, with my second shooter, Tom also taking lots of photos at alternative angles particularly during the ceremony and speeches. I’ve photographed a wedding at Rothley Court before but not the wedding breakfast part in the beautiful Chapel. The last occasion, I was upstairs so this was so lovely. Love the old Chapel.
Both bride and groom were from Buckingham so had travelled quite far for the perfect venue here in the East Midlands. Rothley Court does have a lot of charm to it and I hope to return there again someday. I loved Keisha’s dress and her shoes….. wow those heels. Check out the brides wedding shoes in the images. The table decor, was designed by the bride herself who is a florist. She did a perfect job don’t you think? Imagine planning a wedding, travelling up and getting your ceremony and wedding breakfast decor ready too. Let alone prepping your bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. I know plenty of brides that do the whole DIY thing with their weddings and kudos to them - they’re all brilliant.
