Engagement Photoshoot at Ringwood Hall, Chesterfield

You can always tell when it’s wedding season as the engagement/pre-wedding photoshoots start to happen.

It’s always a lovely time to meet up with your couple in a chilled out manner. Catching up with Samantha and Ben on a beautiful summer’s evening to chat about the wedding plans and making them relaxed in front of the camera. I hadn’t seen them since I first met them several months beforehand so it was lovely. The actual booking came from a friend of theirs that I had worked with twice previously. He was a guest at the wedding so passed the recommendation of me to them. So thank you Chris Ward!

I met up with Sam and Ben at the lovely Ringwood Hall Hotel, just outside Chesterfield for their engagement photoshoot. They would also be getting married here a few weeks later. I love being a wedding photographer and photographing weddings at Ringwood Hall. It offers both indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and the Ringwood Hall team look after everyone brilliantly. It does get busy for weddings so it’s best to book in advance to get the date you want. It’s not uncommon for Ringwood Hall to host more than one wedding during peak season. Honestly you would never know! Everything is co-ordinated perfectly!

My engagement shoots are very relaxed much like the couple portraits part on a wedding day. I’m ideally after interaction and spark from my couples so I like to keep things more natural rather than editorially posed. Like I mentioned, I’m all about being relaxed and chilled out that’s just me. I run around getting angles and you couple’s just enjoy the moment together!
