A Swinfen Hall - Wedding Photography - Lichfield, Staffordshire

It’s raining outside, I’ve been seconding over the last couple of days at various places in the UK from Suffolk to the Peak District.

Most of 2018 was spent assisting a network of photographers I regularly work alongside with. I love to second shoot and it’s great to actually work with super talented photographers that need a second pair of eyes for the day. This wedding was no exception. I was working as Samantha’s (of Samantha J Photography) second shooter for a short while. A gorgeous winter wedding at the lovely Swinfen Hall a short drive from home for me. It was my first visit here and I’m hopeful it won’t be my last.

I won’t go into too much detail of the day as I was a hired observer and lucky enough to share some images that were taken on that day from my perspective. When I do weddings of my own, I also love to work as though I am second as I’m not one for yelling or directing, as I love the day to pass by naturally while I document such beautiful moments. Those moment’s the couple may not even realise are happening as they are so busy chatting to all their guests. A wedding day is a happy day and one I just love sharing that LOVE!
