If there is one venue I absolutely adore that’s right on my doorstep in Derby then it has to be the West Mill. If you are getting married here, I want to be your photographer. I just love photographing weddings at the West Mill. Its industrial look and quirkiness over several floors plus its fab food, makes it a popular choice for saying your ‘I do’s’. AND your wedding is every bit as unique as you are at this hot venue. I do love amazing new wedding adventures travelling far and wide and let’s face it, 13 miles up the road isn’t that far but it’s a place I never tire of. So go on, book me!!

The photo opportunities around the venue itself are just amazing and if it rains, who cares - the West Mill is perfectly suited to us creatives!! The surroundings are utterly fantastic and you won’t be short on places to go for those gorgeous couple portraits. Plus you can have a little fun with the bridal party too!

I thought I would showcase another gorgeous wedding that was held at the West Mill (I did three here that summer). I was hired by Kitty as her second photographer working alongside my exceptionally good friend Holly. We work great together - I’m her and the couple’s very own documentary wedding photographer - looking for little moments of interest, laughter and bundles of emotion. Plus I get an alternative angle on the wedding day. I work as I do my own client weddings, I just don’t have the formal portrait side of things. I stand at the rear of the ceremony room, than the front. That really is the only difference.
