West Mill Wedding Photography - Derby

Up until July 2021 I had never stepped foot at the very prestigious West Mill at Darley Abbey just outside of Derby city. Oh my word…. wow! I mean I had seen this venue countless times on Instagram and knew that I just had to photograph a wedding there - one day.

Well I did get to photograph a wedding but on this occasion, t I was assisting my gorgeous photographer pal Holly Whitehall Photography. Some of you may know that I work with Holly A LOT. We’re a great team together. On this occasion we were joined by Libby of Libby Blunt Videography. I was there to document the groom getting ready (which I love doing) then different angles throughout the day. I just love to document weddings. I live and breathe this stuff. This venue certainly made my job so much easier.

Danielle. the bride looked fantastic in her bridal gown and Shane’s face all day didn’t ever stop smiling. The couple decided against speeches - we were still in restrictions at that point with mask wearing indoors.
