Ringwood Hall Wedding - Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Last week I showcased the Dena and Michael’s engagement shoot at Ringwood Hall. So today, here’s their actual wedding day! Yay. A glorious sunny day in Derbyshire in the middle of July.

So what can I say about this wedding?

It was a relaxed do with only the closet of family and friends their to celebrate. The theme had a The Great Gatsby feel to it from a slique, elegant 20’s style wedding gown, to a gorgeously designed cake!

Where did the wedding take place?

Everything from the ceremony to the party celebrations were all at Ringwood Hall near Chesterfield in Derbyshire. I’ve done a good few weddings here now as a wedding photographer. It’s a lovely venue and the staff are fabulous at looking after you.

My day began with catching a few shots of the bride in the Bridal suite. Darren, my second shooter that day, stayed with the groomsmen and guests. Dena applied her own make-up and did her own 20’s style hair. Amazing! The evening dancing started with some tunes from the band - Tony Griffin and his Band

One of the best moments of the day that really stands out is the bride’s father’s reaction. His only daughter finally getting married for the first time. His face really said it all. The ever so proud father walking his beautiful daughter down the aisle to her own very prince charming. Ok maybe prince charming is a little far fetched, being a character from a fairytale but in Dena’s eyes definitely and why not?

What I can say as I’m conscious of not rambling on and on is that Dena and Michael’s wedding day was just wonderful and it was such a pleasure telling it through my eyes. So here is a little slideshow of the day and a few photos at the end that aren’t featured.
