Planning an Autumnal Wedding?

Hey all, bogging something very different today - yay go me!! As a wedding photographer I get to photograph many different weddings and venues throughout our beautiful seasons. Let’s face it, weddings are pretty much non-stop all year round and each and every one is unique to the couple. I know we’re only in January but I know many couples that will be planning their autumnal wedding be it for 2023 or 2024.

My blog today is really just for inspiration and is particularly aimed at those planning their autumn weddings. It’s all about the colours main! I’m super excited to share these images with you. They are from an actual late October wedding back in 2022. Not that long ago really although when you say we’re in 2023 now it does seem like ages ago. One day, you’ll get to see the full wedding blog - I promise!!

So we all know that autumn colours are just fabulous at this time of year, with deep russet reds and browns, gorgeous rustic oranges and sun scorched yellows and greens. In all honesty autumn is my favourite time of year. The colours just all naturally blend together and make for such gorgeous photos.

This particular wedding was at the ever so gorgeous West Mill in Derby. I just love photographing weddings at the West Mill and have been a several times now. I never tire of it because it is so versatile and a pretty good blank canvas for any couple to decorate it to their personalities. It is one super stunning venue and a very popular one too. Plus it’s pretty much on my doorstep which is so cool.
