Micro Wedding Chesterfield, Derbyshire

Summer 2021 was micro wedding season and I loved it. Michelle and Adam had 28 guests to celebrate their day and check out their wedding reception venue, it is stunning!

My morning began at the local hairdressers in Hasland where Michelle, her mum and Maid of Honour were having their hair done before heading back to Michelle’s family home for the rest of the getting ready stuff. Once Michelle had her gorgeous dress on (you’d never guess she was 24 weeks pregnant), I left to head to the church down the road, to meet up with groom Adam.

Michelle and Adam tied the knot at St Paul’s Church in the village of Hasland. A first time visit for me and what a lovely quaint church it was too. Such a beautiful ceremony it was too and as always it was an honour photographing it.

After the group photos and many hellos, it was time to head into Chesterfield to Michelle and Adam’s reception venue Maison Mesamis a stunning French restaurant which serves rather awesome food. Here we had the speeches, a singer and an emotional first dance. This wedding really was full of love, tears, laughter and great people. I just adored the decor and those cupcakes looked amazing and were lovingly made by Gem’s cupcakes.

Take a look at their wedding photo slideshow and some photos of the day.
