When my Old Schoolfriend got Hitched

When my old schoolfriend got married, it was a heartfelt reunion of sorts. The late summer sun added a certain magic to the day as friends and family gathered to celebrate their love. My heart swelled with joy, knowing I had the privilege of capturing these genuine moments.

From the laughter shared between the bridal party while getting ready, to the emotional tears during the vows, every frame was alive with raw emotion. The couple chose to say their ‘I do’s’ in the village church - one place I had not been in many, many years.

As I stood discreetly amongst the guests, it felt like I was part of the family. The way they stole glances at each other during the ceremony, the heartfelt embraces with loved ones, and the unfiltered joy as they danced later in the evening—all these moments spoke volumes. My aim was to document their celebration authentically, without any stiff poses, allowing their personalities and love to shine through.

It was a day filled with warmth, laughter, and a sense of belonging. Capturing these moments for my old friend felt especially meaningful, and I left with a full heart, thankful to have been part of such a beautiful celebration of love. Please read on and check out the photo slideshow story that made this day so very special.
