Heaton House Farm Wedding - Second Shooter Experience

I love second shooting, I’ve said it countless times. It’s a great way to work, establish new working relationships and do photography at many different venues. This wedding I was working with friend Carrie. The morning started off up near Stockport area for the latter groom preps before heading back to Macclesfield to the wedding venue.

Once there, I assisted with bridal prep shots. The couple had chosen to get married and hold their reception in one place, Heaton House Farm a specialist wedding/events venue nestled on the borders of Cheshire and Staffordshire and is very picturesque. I love farms and old converted barns as it’s full of rustic charm but very elegant. The secret garden was perfect for a few couple photos too. We were lucky with the weather as it did rain but like it does most times, there was a break enabling guests to enjoy the autumnal weather outdoors. I loved all the twinkly lights and the big bulbs around the gardens when dusk came.

The attention to detail was spot on and the venue staff really looked after everyone.

Here is a short selection of my photos taken on the day…
