Emma & Adam - The Pre-Wedding Shoot

I’ve known Emma for several years now and we’re good friends. We love horses and dogs plus living a rural lifestyle. I knew she was dating Adam but had yet to meet him for myself. As we’re both self-employed our time was kind of limited to Social Media and the phone.

So, one morning I received a call from Emma saying she had something huge to tell me! Excited I asked ‘ooh, what is it?’ With a slight inclination in my lower gut as to what it was! Emma replied - ‘I’m getting married… on 26 August are you available to photograph it as I really want you, then you can party?’ Well luckily I was available and I would never turn down such an opportunity so it was all booked in. We meet up for chats, had lunch and arranged the engagement shoot. This was going to be like no other engagement shoot - it was to take place at the Clay Pigeon Shooting Range in Doveridge. Adam isn’t one for the camera so what better than to do something he simply loved doing with the lovely Emma assisting.

Adam is really big and has competed/competes for Team GB as a member of the Clay Pigeon Shoot Squad. I rose to the challenge having never really been to a Clay Pigeon Range before…

So here is a selection of images from Emma & Adam’s pre-wedding shoot, together with the family dogs! I just love including the pets when it comes to weddings. It then finished with some of Adam’s close friends joining in with the clay shooting.
