Digley Reservoir - Engagement Photoshoot
“
I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I've ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, everyday we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours.”
Nicholas Sparks
No truer word than that said above really! It was one late Sunday September morning when I headed oop North to a little village called Holmfirth, more precisely Digley Reservoir up in Yorkshire, to meet for the first time with Josephine and Simon who had booked me for their wedding photography the next month. I had spoken with Josephine over Skype and it was great that we really got on.
Digley Reservoir with its breathtaking views and long winding paths was the perfect place for Simon & Josephine’s engagement photoshoot. A shoot that is simply natural, relaxed and is just there to enjoy and get used to being in front of the camera without all the awkward posing which for a lifestyle photographer is not needed. Anyway, people are more relaxed when not asked to pose.
Although I only spent just over an hour here, I’d love to go back again someday to walk along the many paths and take in the stunning scenery that this place offers!
