Coombe Lodge, Blagdon - Bristol
It’s 2020 yay and two months before we went into a three month lockdown, I was fortunate enough to photograph a lovely wedding celebration at the rather stunning Coombe Lodge , Blagdon near Bristol. I was another set of eyes working alongside Lee Hatherall Photography. I was staying up in Gloucestershire at the time and really wanted to expand my photography adventures further south. Lee kindly offered to help me do this. Little did anyone know that this was pretty much the only wedding I got to photograph that had lots of guests in attendance for this year.
So, turning back to this stunning venue - its a straight up WOW from me. I loved it and I really want to go back and photograph another wedding there (of my own next time) at Coombe Lodge. The staircase you walk down is stunning, the ceremony room well lit and beautiful, the outdoors for wedding photos is utter perfection with stunning scenery. I love it. This particular wedding took place in early January and even at that time, it’s so beautiful. We got so lucky with the weather and yes it was cold but still gorgeous.
