Bedford Town Wedding - Town Hall, The Pavilion & The Auction House

It’s a Sunday evening, the sun is setting beautifully and I’m loving the sea view I have presently. I am baby-sitting my two dogs in a beautiful apartment in the Devonshire Riviera. All is good so I thought I would share this rather fabulous yet different wedding which took place in Bedford back in the summer of 2019.

I was assisting good friend Ryan Jarvis for this one, so off to photograph the groom prep before walking to the Town Hall for the ceremony.

I will keep this short….. The ceremony was held at the Town Hall. I’ve never been to Bedford before so I got to see a few of the sights. Alex, arrived by a horse drawn carriage which being horsey myself was always going to bring a smile to my face. Not that I don’t ever smile… I’m sure you’d agree that Alex looked amazing in her satin wedding dress and veil which did blow quite well in the wind. After the wedding ceremony it was off to the local park for the wedding breakfast at The Pavilion. Such a unique wedding venue nestled in a beautiful park. Once the speeches had been done it was time to leave the Pavilion and head back into town for the evening do, which was being held in the couple’s favourite watering hole - The Auction House. Wow what a super place this was. So quirky!

Here are the photos of the day :)
