Aswarby Rectory in Sleaford, Lincolnshire - Wedding Photography

During 2021 I was so fortunate to photograph at so many beautiful venues, be it as a second photographer or with one of my own weddings. The wedding I am sharing today was a new stunning location in Lincolnshire called ‘Aswarby Rectory’. My first ever visit here to photograph a wedding with good friend Ryan Jarvis Photography. I definitely want to go back - I love it here! It’s so perfect for a wedding celebrations. It’s beautiful in every single way and oh so different from other venues. It is for me, a firm favourite.

Tucked away in the Lincolnshire country side, Aswarby Rectory has been gracefully restored to create a beautiful, authentic space in which you can gather with the ones you cherish the most.

Becky and Dan were just a great couple to work with. They loved being outdoors, went shooting and were proud owners of their gundogs. We had a lot in common and I guess could’ve chatted all day about being out in the field and working their dogs. Yes, I’m a huge fan of gundogs especially working Labradors and Springer Spaniels and could photograph them all day. Countrylife is my life.

The wedding itself was a beautiful ceremony with personal vows. I just loved the wooden benches just like people/children would sit on back in the old school days or when attending chapel. There aren’t many brides that walk themselves down the aisle but Becky did, wearing such a beautiful dress and the biggest of smiles.

The wedding breakfast room too was just so beautifully laid out. I do love the long trestle table layouts. I loved the fact that Becky gave the first speech. I’m photographing more and more weddings where the bride gets up to do a speech. All in all it was a fantastic day where I finished for the evening with sparklers. Ryan of course staying on to capture more of the party.

So if you’re looking at getting married at Aswarby Rectory - which I wholeheartedly recommend. AND if you love my style of photography, then please do get in touch for a chat. You’ll make my day if you pick me as your wedding photographer!
