Thornbridge Hall Wedding - Derbyshire

I’m just going to start this by saying - wow what a stunning wedding venue! I had seen many images of this place but had never actually ventured inside the grounds. I certainly wasn’t disappointed. You know what they say, first impressions count - I was most impressed - I seriously did the whole Friends (Janice) ‘OMG, Chandler Bing thing’ with different wording but same kind of voice though hehe. Check out those gorgeous autumnal colours and this is why Autumn weddings are a firm favourite of mine. Although it was my first ever time photographing a wedding at Thornbridge Hall I hope it won’t be my last as I just love the Peak District. An hour from home and immersed in such beauty.

“Thornbridge Hall is a Grade II listed stately home nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Peak District. Set in 100 acres of stunning parkland, it is the family residence and private home of Jim and Emma Harrison. The Hall and its 14 acres of formal gardens have been lovingly restored and is now recognised as one of the most exclusive and exciting luxury wedding and events venue in the country. “

I’m not going to say too much about this wedding as I was working alongside my friend George Krousti Photography. The thing about my style of shooting is being left to do what I do. On this day I have to say, I loved how I got to photograph the groomsmen and the bridal party getting ready. I loved the elegance of Gail’s wedding dress so perfect for the surroundings and she looked amazing. This wedding oozed elegance - check out the bow ties and it was such a lovely relaxed day with gorgeous weather making it perfect for outdoors photos in those stunning grounds. I so want to go back there again - with my own wedding couple next time.

If you are a couple planning your wedding at the stunning Thornbridge Hall in the Peak District and love my style of photography and you are in need of a wedding photographer - a wedding visual curator, then let’s chat.
