Wow Friday already and almost the middle of July!! I can’t believe how this year is passing by so quickly.

Just in time for the weekend is the beautiful wedding of Lauren and Andy who were married at The Maynard, in Grindleford, Derbyshire. Located right in the High Peak. This venue is absolutely stunning with picturesque views, a perfect location for getting married and the service, food and staff are just wonderful. I really cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Being a wedding photographer is a wonderful job to have even better when you are located for wedding photography in the Peak District in Derbyshire. My day began with the bridal preps, oh my I love this part - everyone was so relaxed and chilled. Rob my second shooter went off to Chesterfield to photograph Andy and the groomsmen. It’s great when there are two of you! The room decor and florals were just beautiful and I wish I had details as to who the florist was but sadly I don’t.

I know Lauren’s stunning dress was from Bride to Be in Reading, Berkshire. The wedding ceremony was just lovely, the speeches emotional and although the weather wasn’t quite what we’d hoped earlier that day, we managed to get some beautiful relaxed couple portraits later on that evening!

All in all it was one splendid day and it was lovely to see my dear friend George and finally meet his wife Louisa (cousin to the groom) and their two beautiful daughters! I hope one day to return to The Maynard as it was just gorgeous! The food - devine!
