St Mary's Church Nantwich and Peckforton Castle Wedding - Wedding Photography Cheshire
Working as a Second photographer once again for the lovely Caroline White Photography a wonderful lady I love to work alongside of. Being a wedding photographer is a fantastic job and it’s great when other photographers ask for your services as a second to help them cover more on the day.
I met with the bride at the family home to document the latter stages of the bridal preparations. The twin girls were a delight and looked beautiful in their flower girl dresses. I thought Joanna looked amazing in her beautiful lace overlay bridal gown.
After the preparations were complete, I made my over to Nantwich town to St Mary’s Church where the ceremony would be taking place. I’ve never seen such a fantastic church as this one and I hope one day to return to photograph another wedding there. I can understand why the bride and groom chose this for their wedding ceremony. After the ceremony, and the greetings to confetti, it was off to the lovely and lavish Peckforton Castle nestled up on a hill overlooking Beeston and nearby Tarporley in Cheshire. What a stunning place it is and you would not be disappointed coming here. It’s not a traditional castle in the sense of the history books or a ruin such as Tutbury or Bolsover Castle. It is a more of a modern day castle being built during the Victorian times in late 1840. I’ve photographed there a good few times now as a second photographer for various photographers over the last few years. It is a venue most certain to bring your fairytale to life! Everytime I have been here I have been in awe over the decorations and the attentive service Peckforton offer. They certainly do bring the best wedding suppliers together. If you’re up for a cross country adventure, I’d recommend the Land Rover experience!
So there really isn’t much to say with this wedding as I was working as a second observer. This is something I love to incorporate with my own wedding photography giving it a more documentary approach. Here is my version of the day’s events pretty much pure documentary style, outside of assisting Caroline with lighting and fluffing of the dress! Enjoy!
