It’s great to still have some fabulous content to blog and I am working my way through weddings I working on during 2019 now coming to late summer weddings. The one I share today is one I worked on assisting Martin from the bridal preparations to the end of the speeches.

I met the couple one sunny afternoon in Ashby where we discussed how I’d work and that I’d be covering the bridal preparations and that Martin would be photographing the guys. Now normally when I second shoot for someone, I do the groom preps but I was happy with the swap around. I love doing the preparations and it was great working alongside Perfectivity by Danielle who always does a stunning job of the make-up. I love the fact that this was such a lovely local wedding for me. It was a first for me photographing at the village church- The Holy Rood in Packington. What made it really lovely was that the bride and her entourage were walking there, I always love this idea especially when the weather plays nice. The ceremony finished with an awesome Gospel Choir which were incredible to listen too.

After the church ceremony the wedding party headed off to the beautiful estate of Staunton Harold. Honestly, this place is absolutely gorgeous. It was my first time photographing such a lovely, chilled out wedding here and I hope to do more weddings at Staunton Harold as it’s a venue that is practically on my doorstep and I love everything about it.

This wedding was beautiful from the people to the venue. I loved Amy’s choice of bridal gown and that the bridesmaids had white knee length dresses. It really was a great day to be a part of. Sadly the breeze direction kind of meant the confetti was more on the guests than the couple but it was still lovely to see those smiles.
