Barton Hall Hotel, Kettering - Wedding Photography
My first visit to Barton Hall and wow what a stunning place and just so perfect for a wedding day. The actual ceremony building is beautifully bright and airy. Plus the gardens make for great photos even if you just want to have a little walk around and look lovingly at each other. This setting is a little gem.
The Orangery - Ceremony Room
This wedding was just perfect from the groom prep, (as I was assisting my friend Ryan Jarvis Photography on this one) until the dancing got going, yup it was going to be one heck of a party. It was Bonfire night too so it was just great adding in the sparklers and standing outside watching the fireworks light up the skies above. What a great time of year to get married anyway. I just love autumn weddings. The light is so much nicer than the summer, being less harsh, the rustic colours and it’s not too cold nor too warm. It can rain anytime of year though so if you’re planning an autumn wedding and just not sure on the weather don’t put it off because of that. We got lucky this day, it was so dry and the sun shone all day.
Before I add the full photo feature below, I just want to mention how gorgeous the bride’s dress was. I loved the slim fit and all the ruffles. Charlotte looked just amazing. AND I guess the guys scrubbed up well too. It was one great wedding with a fabulous party!
